  1. Is there any appetite to watch England's Euro games at the QEII? If so, we'll stick a bright young thing behind the bar to meet your every need. Any advance on John Powell................................................?
  2. Town's U-18's rounded off a fine season beating the winners of the other 3 EJA divisions to win the overall title. Having beaten Thurrock last Sunday, and Chelmsford yesterday, Manford Way were today overcome 4-1 with goals from Connor Bolton (3) & 'keeper Charlie Crowley making a rare outfield appearance. That's 4 trophies in the season! Well done to all concerned
  3. Steve will be presenting the U-18 awards on Saturday, kicking off at 18:30. Their trophies will also be on show.
  4. Town's Under 18's finally got to play the Ingilby Cup final last night, beating Ilford 2-1 at Brentwood to land their third bit of silverware of the season. Well done to all concerned.
  5. In the absence of any team news from EU about this evening's game, I am will to go out on a limb & speculate that there won't be too many first team squad players involved......
  6. As the season draws to a close, Town travel to Cheshunt on Wednesday evening for the final away game of 2011-12. Kick off 19:45.
  7. Sorry folks, the weather has beaten us for the first time at QEII in the Capital League. This evening's game has been postponed, as there is plenty of surface water on the pitch and more rain to come.
  8. There will be an nspection at 15:00, although I understand our pitch magicians are quietly confident that the game will be able to go ahead. Watch this space.
  9. The cup final is at Brentwood Town, kick off 10:30am on Sunday. That should leave enough time to get back to QEIiI for the Vets cup final at 14:00!
  10. Connor Bolton's 77th minute goal was sufficient to clinch the 3 points and the EJA divisonal title at closest rivals Ware yesterday afternoon. Next up Ilford in the Ingilby Cup final next Sunday, as the youngsters look to land their third piece of silverware of the season.
  11. Next week it's away to Chelmsford on Monday evening, and home to AFC Hornchurch (in a dress rehearsal for the league cup final) on Wednesday. Both games are 19:45 kick off.
  12. EU- any team news? Players playing for their league cup final places?
  13. Town host Ebbsfleet United's Capital League side at QEII Stadium on Monday evening [16th], kick off 19:45. Then on Wednesday evening, EU and his side head to Braintreee Town- again in a 19:45 start.
  14. Town's Under-18's face a tricky trip to Brentwood Town on Tuesday evening for their Lucas Fettes Cup semi-final.
