I defy anyone to say last night was a corker of a game but as Ryan pointed out at the end "history books will only ever see the result" Pretty fair summarisation really.

Personally for me i thought Wareham was our mom and from what i have seen could be in running for player of month.

Defensively we still look exceedingly tight and that is as good a compliment as any.

Still the only slight on the night (for me) was simply our second half showing as we just did not seem to get going and i think their keeper did not make a save in that second period. But as far as i am concerned we are half way to the target of the 6 points from our home game from last night and now onto Saturday...Jeez...If we win on Sat that will be 9 from 9 !!!!!!

Shinn being sent off for kicking ball away seemed harsh when their player did the same later, but it did get evened up.

Like i said, not a pretty game but those "history books" dont report drab affairs

Leave the M20 at Junction 10, follow the signs for Ashford International Station and Brenzett.

This will be Bad Munsterieful Road. Follow this road straight over at the first roundabout (McDonalds drivethru and Travel Inn on your right).

At the next roundabout take the first exit for Kingsnorth. At the next roundabout go straight over (Tesco on your left).

Follow this road for about twomiles, going through Kingsnorth, passing the cricket club on the left.

The Homelands is 300 yards on your left.

By bus
There is a bus service that runs between Maidstone High Street and Ashford Station, it is the 510.

The timetable can be found at www.stagecoachbus.com/timetables/510from080309.pdf

This service goes via Bearsted, Hollingbourne, Harrietsham, Lenham, Charing Heath, Charing on to Ashford.

On Saturdays, there is only one suitable service:
Depart Maidstone High Street 1205 Arrive Ashford Station 1304

Unfortunately, the service only runs every two hours.

The return service would be:
Depart Ashford Station 1755 Arrive Maidstone High Street 1848

Midweek games provide only for a service to Ashford, there is no return service.
Depart Maidstone High Street 1735 Arrive Ashford Station 1834

By train
The nearest station is Ashford International, which is four miles from the stadium.

Trains from Maidstone to Ashford are plentiful with a journey time of 22 minutes (fast) or 30 minutes (stopping).
Midweek Trains:
Depart Maidstone East 1738 arrive Ashford International 1807
Depart Maidstone East 1754 arrive Ashford International 1823
Depart Maidstone East 1829 arrive Ashford International 1859

Return journeys are as follows:
Depart Ashford International 2208 arrive Maidstone East 2237
