She stands in her shirt clapping when daddy does and waves Billericay bear in the air when we score. Unfortunately when we got home Billericay bear was no where to be seen.

If anyone picked up a Billericay Bear either in the ground or in Blunts wall road then please let me know.

The event will take place in the clubhouse on Saturday 4th September (after our away game at Sutton United), and runs from 19:00 till late.

Tickets are £5 and include karaoke, a DJ and buffet. There will also be a raffle.

Tickets are available from the club now.

It will be interesting to hear if Craig's selection was influened by the Amazonian rainforest pitch as i don't think we could have put out a bigger xi (in every sense!!) if we had tried.

The first half was pretty forgettable but we still had the best chance when McKenzie was put through and shot wide. We were much better in the second half and it was pretty much one way traffic but unfortunately we didn't have our shooting boots on today. Never mind a point's still ok.

Thought Croydon Ath were very average especially considering there had been a bit of hype around them. On this week's evidence they are miles behind the Ks.

A new ground, a point gained away from home - happy with that. Be nice to get three points Monday though.

Billericay Town have signed striker Leon McKenzie. 25, from Bromley

Leon played for Waltham Forest, Bishop's Stortford and Thurrock prior to Bromley. He made over 100 appearances for Thurrock, and scored 18 league goals last campaign for Bromley.

Chairman Steve Kent said: "We're very pleased to sign Leon. He has scored goals wherever he has been."
