no chance. barnet would not antagonise their local council and whinning neighbours by taking on a tennent, even one as poorly supported as enfield are today. local 'antis' would just manipulate it to block barnets moves to redevelop underhill.
if you really want to know where enfield are playing next season look nearer home.
laz has waited until it is almost inevitable that enfield are relegated so he can choose a non premier-graded venue. why else would he have hung on for so long.
once that is understood then its obvious where we are going isn't it?

Of course not. They would not be allowed to play on an artificial surface. It must be Elsinges Green! a few bags for goalposts and they've got a great ground!!

I thought the probelm there was that you are not allowed to enclose it?

It can't be in the borough because there has been no planning application, and it all has to be ready by April 1st, I presume. So I still reckon it must be Cheshunt.

This is a great game though. MK James, you started it, is tere a prize for whoever gueses right?

Just to recap...

it is not- St.Albans, Boreham Wood, Barnet,Haringey Borough,Brimsdown or QE 2

but it could be...

Cheshunt <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Broxbourne <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Hertford <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Ware <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Potters Bar <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Cockfosters <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Norsemen <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Waltham Abbey <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

and one that nobody has mentioned-Hoddesdon <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Now to start eliminating these one by one... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would not think that Norsemen, Cockfosters, Potters Bar, Hoddesdon or Broxbourne have got a "B" grading.

Nobody's said that it will definitely have a ' B' rating. I thought that Hoddesdon probably would have though,so ...

We all know where we 're going next season don't we russ! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Actually it's not Bishops Stortford either!

How many divisions are you planning to drop then? You have to have a "B" grade to play in Ryman 1. A "C" grade is ok for Ryman 2. This is why Cheshunt were forced into Ryman 2 last year, as they only had a "C" at the time .

Hoddesdon might have, but from vague memory it has no (or very little) covered standing. I ran the line there once you know. The showers were cold.

that's exactly what we need - some of the John Beck treatment- a cold shower before the game even starts <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

i heard last season that Laz approched Waltham Abbey, about a groung share.

Apparently Laz wanted 50% of the bar profits...so it was turned down.

Maybe he dropped his demards...as he saw the deadline looming.

Capershotts (Waltham abbey) is coming more and more into the running... Sirop- instead of bonus ball this weekend lets do bonusground <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />- my £1 is still on Cheshunt- despite what freebird's been saying.

Of course we could just ask derek..

Maybe Laz has decided to apply to the ESL to ensure a lucrative local derby next season!
