You can't bet, James, you've admiited to inside knowledge!

That's a form of insider trading!

90% certain-just waiting on an official announcement -i might have been deliberately misinformed-hadn't allowed for Waltham Abbey because that can't be 'B' grade, though as Tom S put- a lucrative local derby! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Are you sure Waltham Abbey don't have a "B" grade? Thye have lots of new terracong and two covered areas, but the clubhoiuse is quite a long way from the pitch.

No- I've never been to a match there- but I'd heard that in the past they'd had problems with vandalism and flooding, coupled with playing in the spartan and essex leagues suggested to me that it wasn't. I can reveal by the way it won't be Norsemen next season so...Mark,Rob I take it you know by now.

to my knowledge, a 'b' grade ground has to have three operating turnstiles. thats waltham abbey out then unless they get a move on in the next week.
also out then are hoddesdon , which has no turnstiles at all, broxbourne ,haringey and cockfosters (all likewise).

so its cheshunt, hertford or, the one nobody mentions but is an 'a' grade ground with a club in big financial do-do, ware.

i reckon (hope) its ware

If ti is Ware, then it's a good ground. We won the Cherry Red Trophy there last season and I was impressed. A long way to travel though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would not think that Norsemen, Cockfosters, Potters Bar, Hoddesdon or Broxbourne have got a "B" grading.

Potters Bar is the nearest to a B Grade out of this lot
