"10,000 grand"??? That's £10m in English. You could buy a new ground.

Y would it cost a club that much?
cuz he's on contract?
i think it would be very unfair if the club went down, not to let our best player move on to bigger better things.
He's to good for that level and it could destroy him.
GOOD PLAYERS NEED TO PLAY AT A GOOD LEVEL OTHERWISE BAD HABITS START TO KICK IN.
ie LIONEL PEREZ. DONE WELL THEN PLAYED TO THE SAME STANDARD AS THE LEAGUE HE WAS PLAYING IN.

If it's true then even Terry believes that we are down now and is sorting out the players he wants for next season so more of the senior players are likely to go soon

ANYWAY CONTRACTS AREN'T WORTH THE PAPER THEY'RE WRITTEN ON.
IF PLAYERS ARE MESSED ABOUT ONCE WITH MONEY OR ANYTHING IN THE CONTRACT, THEN THE CONTRACT IS VOID AS THE AGREEMENT BY THE CLUB HAS BEEN BROKEN.
IF PLAYERS CAN'T BREAK THE CONTRACT THEN THE CLUBS CAN'T EITHER...........

O.k Paul is a very good player, and has got 12 goals for us this season, if we let him go it will be CRAZY!!!! Even if we have even a 1% chance of staying up then going to go up in smoke coz of it!!! I cant belive this S**t!!!

Just as he was about to win 'Player Of The Season' as well.

The chairman's battle plan to cut the wage bill and the groundshare costs appears to be working well. It is all too clear that he WANTS relegation. This is why the club has split and ETFC were formed. Those that have stayed loyal to EFC have been duped. He recently said that if he was the problem then he would go................................still waiting

I'm sure we would be able to reach an agreement with the Ryman Lge. for voluntary relegation. I would have been happier with that then surrendering on the pitch. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
