Next season EFC will be playing at Meadow Park (Borehamwood's ground)

Shame the club couldn't be bothered to tell the fans - but they did have to inform the league (by April 1st)

So it's more of the same next season, just a different league.

I have to admit that it becomes slightly worrying when you know that Town are gonna be one division below...got an idea for a song (to the tune of '50 ways to leave your lover') 50 ways to kill a club...okay, I admit, I ain't got no lyrics yet...

Careful Robsy, I'm sure South London Bee could oblige! Seems he's a bit of a songsmith and he really hates the Enfields, the poor soul.

I'm not entirely sure if I can say, basically it's 100% accurate. The person wouldn't lie and I'm not interested in passing on stuff if I think it's wrong.

As far as I'm aware the club have had to confirm a venue and this cannot be changed before the start of the season, although I would imagine that there are leagues rules relating to emergency changes of venue's. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if EFC weren't very well thought of by other Ryman clubs or the league itself and that any 'emergency' change would be blocked.

To be honest, they might have been waiting for EFC's first 'home' game after April 1st to announce it in the programme. But I think the fans should be allowed to know asap.

As I said before I'm 100% sure about this, but I will 'reveal' the source if the information turns out to be incorrect.

The thing that starts to wind me up is that Laz hasn't learnt his lesson. Doesn't he realise that people would rather have no promises than completely false promises. I find it difficult to believe that it's going to have taken him near on 5 years to find a suitbale site...if he ever does. I'm not entirely sure what he does for a living, but I'd sack him if he worked this slowly for me!

Strangely enough he's his own boss. He's a "property developer". You can see a fine example of his handiwork at Southbury Corner.

Funny how he can find land for housing but not for a football stadium.

Whose message board. Do you mean Enfields, I thought they only had this forum. Is there another place to find out all the gossip.

Is it definite that we are going down to Div.1 now.

I don't think he has any intentions of finding us a stadium in Enfield. 4 years almost ( that's 1461 days= 35064 hours.) If he was going to do it he would have done it by now.

A newsflash of a different sort- George Borg has been appointed as the new manager at ... Boreham Wood! With Tom Loizou there as well, I can't imagine they will have very complimentary things to say to the BWFC board about our chairman. I hope this won't affect our groundsharing arrangement for next season...
