"On 26 minutes Micky Bennett was unable to deal with an Aldershot break and, in chasing Aaron McLean into the penalty area, he lunged at him from behind and brought him down"

That is what I thought but others said that it was D'sane that went down did anyone get a clear view as I was sure it was Aaron that went down but Shotsweb say it was D'sane.

Cheers for any opinions as it has bugged me allday!!

From where I was standing it looked like Benno had won the ball, but I was at the far end and my view wasn't the greatest.

It was the number 9, whoever he was I didn't buy a program so don't know,

One question though, If we'd had Steve Ward would he have given the penalty away. Shots did well to hold on

it was a penalty, i was right in front of em, i thought it was mclean but i was spannered so dont take that for gospel..
wardy would have nipped round in front, stolen the ball and shot off up the wing..;-)
