we can only do our bit but if barkingside win all their games (apart from the one against us) and concord drop points, so come the last game of the season when concord play barkingside and concord having nothing to play for, i really cant see concord going yo Oakside and winning enabling us to go up...can you!! we only hope.

Enfield 4-1 Clapton , E's were without Danny Jones ,Deniz Mehmet, Paul Oshin & Jack Coomes for this match .

Chris Green felt the full force of Calum Brierley's lunge in the 1st moments but the Clapton No 8 escaped with just a mild ticking off . An Escape for E's as Calum Brierley's header brushed Steve Wright's post from Dave Armstrong's cross on 4 mins. A shot by Brierley was blocked by Chris Green on 6 mins. E's first opening arrived on 9 mins as Adilson Lopes fired over the top from about 12 yards. Remi Nelson put Neil Hughes in with a chance but his deft lob over Clapton keeper Mark Parker just cleared the crossbar 14 mins. E's were now gaining the upper hand and on 25 mins the deadlock was broken as Lee Benmore's freekick was headed back across the six yard box by Remi Nelson and Sherwin Stanley blasted it home 1-0 E's. A shot by Clapton No 4 Matt Malton went over the top 26 mins.Neil Hughes tee's up Sherwin Stanley but his shot is blocked 28 mins. Lee Benmore is hacked down out on the touchline and this time a yellow card was shown to Brierley . Sherwin Stanley took a blow to the head and needed a few moments to recover 34mins. A harsh handball against Sam Oki gave Darren Hayes a chance from a freekick but he floated it just wide of Steve Wright's post 40 mins A moment of humour as Dave Armstrong's shot from the edge of the box was so far wide it went for a throw in 42 mins. Sam Oki was struggling and was replaced by Graeme Butler on 42 mins A booking for Clapton No 10 Agard for a late challenge A shot by Dave Armstrong goes straight at Steve Wright . H/T

2nd Half ( E's sub Sean Clarke on for Chris Green ). Neil Hughes puts Sherwin Stanley in but Mark Parker did well to read the danger and was out quickly to clear 49 mins. Adilson Lopes puts Sherwin Stanley clear but Parker saved with his foot 50 mins A shot by Matt Malton goes over the top on 51 mins .Adilson Lopes long throw is met by Sherwin Stanley but his header is saved 52 mins . With 54 mins played it was 2-0 as Adilson Lopes long throw was headed on by Sean Clarke and Neil Hughes swept the ball home . But Clapton came back two minutes later as a freekick was headed across goal and Andy Richardson blasts it past Steve Wright 2-1 E's . ( Clapton sub N[****!!****]yo on for Matt Malton 60 mins) Lee Benmore's corner is met by Sherwin Stanley but Parker makes the save 61 mins. ( Clapton sub Olli King on for Darren Mitchell 65 mins. ) Adilson Lopes slips a ball through to Sherwin Stanley but he scuffs his shot badly and the chance is lost 66 mins. An Olli King corner finds Andy Richardson but he heads wide 71 mins. (E's sub Ricardo Armado is replaced by Chris Thomas 72 mins) Wes Borghy freekick is saved by Mark Parker 73 mins ,On 75 mins it was 3-1 to E's when Andy Richardson showed too much of the ball to Lee Benmore who robbed him about 25 yards out and rounded the advancing Mark Parker for a tap in . Sherwin Stanley and Chris Thomas had shots blocked in quick succession 76 mins. Remi Nelson crosses and Sean Clarke scuffs his shot at Mark Parker 78 mins. Mark Whittington found himself harshly booked for disputing a bad discision 80 mins. Dave Armstrong shoots wildly wide for Clapton 81 mins. Good defending from Sean Clarke robs Olli King of the ball 82 mins.Lee Benmore's freekick and Sherwin Stanley heads across goal but Neil Hughes shot was blocked 84 mins. A slip from Wes Borghys allows Agard a 1 on 1 chance but he has a rush of blood and fires wide 85 mins Olli King's freekick finds Agard but he heads wide 86 mins.Neil Hughes blazes over the top on 87 mins . Remi Nelson puts Sherwin Stanley away but he loses control and Matt Parker is able to claim the ball 88 mins. Steve Wright was out quick to clear as Agard was almost put through 89 mins . Wes Borghys was mysteriously booked 90 mins ? In stopage time two blocked shots from Chris Thomas & Neil Hughes failed to increase the scoreline but on 95 mins and the last kick of the game Sean Clarke picked up a half clearence on the edge of the box and sent a screamer into the top corner 4-1 E's F/T
