Who cares about going to Wembley? Quite frankly it's a crumbling s..thole that deserved to be demolished. I went there to watch an Oasis concert and it's like a concrete jungle. The facilities were poor! Now Villa Park that is a stadium!!

So what it might not have been the most attractive of grounds. It was still Wembley it was the history that made the ground. Of course the newer open plan grounds such as the Stadium of Light that I went to see to see England V The Turkish Scum was a fair nicer ground then dear old Wembley but its still Wembley.

i think u ll find mark graham threw his toys out when he was told he was on the bench yet again and has left you... never mind i'm sure you can find a few more people that you can pay 450 quid a week and never play....

He was there yesterday in his CIFC tracksuit so I wouldn't say he's left just yet. It's going to be hard to keep JK out of the side, so I hope he has commitment and dedication.

Another thing for the Canvey fans that I didn't speak to yesterday - Wardy revealed yesterday that he could miss the rest of the season!! A big blow even if it is only the Bryco Cup we've got to fight for.

CANV, sorry mate, haven't been on here as fequently as usual......Yes I did enjoy it, underdogs and all that. I think that is the reason we went mad at the end of the game....lets face it, with the money JK puts in, you have a better side....Oooooo, I'm going to get so caned by my fellow 'Ricay supporters.

I think Ansell is staying and I wish we would buy Stowe but hey, I've taken the line "whatever" with the club on keeping (and losing) quality players.

As for the pitch (which was mentioned on our side), come on lads....excuses, excuses.....You have the players to play on any surface so lets not sour the relationship with that one. I could mention the poor officials which, to my mind, seem to be helping Canvey but won't (and yes it was a penalty before anyone complains that I disagree with that one).

Anyway, best of luck and see ya.......

Come on you Blues!!!!

we merely rightfully celebrated an overdue against what I personally consider to be along wiht all my mates who were at the game our biigest rivals.

Ok fair enough 1 person might have gone a bit OTT with the pitch invasion but at the end of the game it was a small celebration of a long over due win against our biggest rivals. Which recently in pretty much every game the players come over after the game to where the fans are and get appuled ok maybe people are usaully leaving or heading towards the bar when thats happening but it werent that much more than a standrad game.

Comments on youre website like "The Billericay fans went wild after the game, celebrating as if they’d won the FA Cup" are alos a bit OTT

I don't know if I could cope with his Sister coming to the games if she does. Remember her at Furtherwick Glen?

You know Jon Keeling's sister?

She was my History teacher at Furtherwick Park until she left in 2000. She came to the ESC Final at Roots Hall when Keeling couldn't play cause he broke his leg and she was trying to hide in the stand when the Yellow Army were taking the piss as he hobbled past!!

Is she small then?, Jon Keeling must be about 5ft 6, even J.K towers over him!!

Had a spell at D & R earlier in the season but never made it there. Perhaps you have to question his ambition if he couldn't make it at Daggers.

I thought he was only there on loan?

Yeah she is small, they've got another brother too I believe and they're Irish too. I always remember that anyone in her class wasn't paying attention they'd get a board rubber thrown at their head!

Quite fun though and when everyone wanted to opt for GCSE History the didn't know she was leaving so they got stuck with the Adam Tanner look alike Mr. Walls, who is also Irish. He now sports a perm I belive too.

Blimey! I thought the teachers who threw board rubbers at their pupils were those from the 'old school' of teaching, those in their 50s.

I'd imagine the teachers in their 20s and 30s would be a little bit liberal wishy washy. This debate is more St Albans forum than Canvey!

I take it Jon Keeling was never asked by the Irish side to represent them being that it's his Grandparents I believe who are Irish. So he decides to play for the English National Game XI instead!!

Maybe you should ask Merv about the 'old-school' ways of teaching. He's been there and done that. But it has to be done. So many young teachers are just being laughed at by naughty little school children like us, when they stress out that they can't control the class. But in the end it's the pupils choice isn't it?

1. Muck around in lessons, do no work, learn nothing and struggle with the exams. Or...

2. Sit down, shut up, be prepared to learn, make the most of it, get the grades, get the job, earn the money, buy the nice house/car/luxury holidays etc.

It's quite amusing when I see some of my old school mates slumming it down town, when I'm on the bus coming home from SEEC after a hard day learning about Genetics in Human Biology, Polar/Non-Polar bonding in Chemistry, Mise-en-scene in Film Studies, Visual Basics and Spreadsheet designs in ICT and I get to share my views in General Studies about the Iraqi War, Asylum Seekers etc. It's all good fun really, but some of them I went to school with will never know...

Speaking of College actually, my friend who does History at SEEC received a letter yesterday informing him that his Tutor had drowned while on holiday in Spain last week!!! Poor John he was a funny guy, looked and spoke like Father Ted so much!!!

If I'd been in charge of my Secondary School while I was there, half of the students in my year would've been kicked out ages ago!! Little B*****ds, depriving the others of the teachers attention and time to complete work, send them to Boarding School I say, bring back the cain and let them feel the sting across the back of their legs!!!

I used to go to Castle View and I while I was there it was an excellent school. Unfortunately the deputy head died of cancer and the headmistress left a couple of years after I left and now it has really gone downhill.
