Bimsdown Rover has been rinsed and hung out to dry so often on the ETFC forum in the past. He's now bolted to another another clubs forum in order to have a dig at us.

We'll happily represent anything and everyone in the borough of Enfield.(Including its railway station). No one else is.

Real Wimbledon Fc fans rightly left that club, when the owners of that club moved it out of the area it represented, and then changed its name?

Wonder if the dozen former Wimbledon fc fans who go to watch Milton Keynes, still consider the rest of their former fellow fans who set up AFC Wimbledon, as traitors?I've a feeling ,its the other way around.

The difference is that our current board are working flat out to try and secure a return to the borough, where as Winkleman and his crew couldn't give a damn about Wimbledon.

Lazarou told everyone he was working flat out to secure a return to the borough.I've no doubt that your board genuinely want to return to the borough.Just as they genuinely wanted to pay off Lazarous debts. The fact remains that unless you gain access to the QE (which at present looks less than a 30/70 chance for all applications)your chances of returning to the borough are virtually nil.And another decade of groundsharing out of the borough will begin in earnest. And with it a very bleak future.

Its a big gamble. You the fans gambled on Lazarou ever leaving in the first place. You gambled on him handing over the club rather than disolving it.You gambled that your new chairman would wipe his debts and find a new ground in Enfield. You the fans gambled by turning down the last chance of ever reunited the old fans back together.

You may get lucky and those gambles may pay off.Alternatively there is just as much chance of badly regretting your decisions at every one of those crossroads.

If ETFC fail to secure the QE.They still have a future (albiet a slower one than envisaged). If E1893 fail to secure the QE,it will be the beginning of the end for the club.

I can't ever see a time when the side I know as Enfield (with or without some extra numbers) cease to exist. Even if it means playing in the Middx County Lge. on Enfield playing fields. We share outside the borough to maintain as high a playing standard as possible. We could move in with Hinton or someone like that if we were absolutely desperate to play in the borough.

There's always Brimsdown if you move out of course. I'd even consider merging with Brimsdown if that's what it took.
