as far as i know always supposed to be at brimmo
the reason they are playing it on a friday is enfield town supporters have the brimmo pitch booked for saturday

maybe the tie was switched initially to brimmo because there is the league cup final being held on the pitch monday. im only second guessing here though.

With any luck we might be able to get it switched to our place. At least then a decent crowd would turn up to see us lift the Galleon.

We gave them the option but they declined it. They've missed out on a big payday, would have been 400+ at Park Lane today...

I'm sure their stubbornness will pay off when their regular fans base of 44 turns up, along with 100 or so from Canvey.

All I'm saying is that they were worried they would lose out on bar takings.... so where's the nearest pub then??

Is that it? Idiots - they'd have made more through gate money at our gaff, than they will in bar takings at theirs!

That was our argument, but oh well, let's win the trophy and have a great presentation night on the 18th May to celebrate the double!
