Yes, well it's all good news to me. It does perhaps prove my other theory - politicans with lots of hair always stand a better chance than those with thinning or no hair.

Born statesmen is Boris. Not sure whether he is a genius playing an idiot, or an idiot who stumbled across a talent for success. It was a fairly inevitable result given where we were on polling day.

Interesting to see that James Whale has been sacked from Talksport after telling his listeners to vote for Boris. It will probably be one of the traditional Talksport sackings that last a couple of months before the presenter is reinstated.

I may have the opportunity of meeting Boris soon at City Hall as part of my ongoing work with stakeholders in Haringey Council, and in particular the Reverand Nims of the Peace Alliance, on trying to cut knife crime in the Borough. If I do I'll report back on what he's like, he seems fine and appears to be a do'er unlike Ken who promised the earth but rarely delivered.

Looks like he's going to have a very deep delve into the never ending gravy-train of Ken's administration !

Could be very interesting.
