This year, Canvey Island FC will be at The Castle Point Show on Sunday 22nd June 2008. The show is being held as usual at Waterside Farm, Canvey, from 11am-4pm.

 

This will be the first time in the club's history that we have attended Castle Point's biggest event of the year, crazy really as we are by far and away Castle Point's biggest sports club.

 

Some members of the squad will be there taking part in football challenges with the kids, and under the gazebos we will be showing everyone what a great season we had and try and entice people for Park Lane next season.

 

One thing we are trying to do it to produce 1000 promotional programme sized booklets that we can give away to people to show them what the club is all about.

But CIFC are blatantly not the biggest, even Benfleet Villa YFC is a better shout......

Nice one GoldenBoots, but I think we all know that it is the case. The only sports club in Castle Point that I can think off that could make an case for themselves would be Hadleigh & Thundersley Cricket Club, but that's mainly through their links with Centurion.
