It appears that 'another' virus may be doing the rounds.

After getting my e-mails today, following my little break, I have received at least half a dozen messages with a file called "curiculumvitei.doc.exe" attached.

As I practice SAFE HEX - I have Norton anti-virus attached and I use common sense... I don't open anything if I don't know where it's from - all these messages were immediately deleted.

If you receive any, do NOT open, certainly don't execute the file, just DELETE straight away.

Always practice SAFE HEX
- delete unsolicted mail
- don't open anything if you don't know where it originates.
- always keep you anti-virus software up to date.

You could add to that...
- don't open any attachment which ends ".exe", ".bat" or ".com" unless you know where it came from and what it is before you open it.

- don't open any attachment with more than one file extension (in this case "doc" and "exe") in its name.

- download "Adaware" an anti-spyware program (spyware waits until you go on line and then sends messages to some other computer, usually containing your ID so you can get loads of spam sent to you, but sometimes more harmful than that).

I always thought the biggest virus around was Tony Lazarou!
