I didn't know there was a bank in Markyate.

Unless you mean the Bottle Bank!

I thought your Nan lived in Australia? Mind you, I suppose everyone's entitled to two.

One nan lives in Australia, my other nan lives in St.Albans and my other nan lives in Markyate.

The one that lives in Markyate was at the bank with my Dad who was talking to the bank people when the robber came in demanding money.

He had a loaded gun and in order to get the money he put the gun to another customer's head.

Scary stuff

I'm not doubting your story at all, but how do you know the gun was loaded?

Why didn't he just write a cheque or use the ATM like anyone else?

Well, when he has already shot the gun, you tend to notice that it is loaded GHA.

Err... no.

You fire a gun, with the trigger in order to shoot something.

If he only had one bullet, C.Hart, was the gun still loaded after he 'shot' it?

I'd like to hear you say that in Markyate. Best not though, you'd get your head kicked in most probably.

I never said there was only one bullett. I said it was a loaded gun.

The story is to be in the Hemel Gazette so you can read all about it if you don't believe me.

Guns, armed robbery, street violence - obviously passed me by that Markyate was designated Brixton overspill

If you go onto the site and look at the photo's you will see the bank. There are two windows on the front of the building. The second one is where my Dad and Nan were held.

I have some friends just down the road in Studham, lucky they don't have a bank/

Whatever next? Drugs deals in Dagnall? Evil in Eddlesborough? Murder in Markyate?

Obviously the problem with Markyate is it's too near Hemel, that's why it has crime. It's like Iver Heath, noce place but wey too near Slough.
