Also there is no Mr Pigg at this club .
Indeed there isn't. Nor is there one living in Spring Bank. But I think we both know who wrote the letter!

Look, lets get sensible here please. What we should do is merge ETFC, 1893, Cockfosters and Brimsdown Rovers and create Enfield Borough. Build a football league graded ground on the St.George Playing Fields (I put that in just to p1ss off Jose O Whore) and see the newly created club playing in the Champions League within nine years!!! excited excited excited

All this debate/argument is my fault I'm afraid. Way back when this forum was shiny and new, I posted the following thread: http://www.nonleague....html#Post12989

I should've let it lie. 7 years later and we're still banging on.

Just what is it that upthemselves FC want with Enfield 1839 ? Is it the history or the club badge or about 60-70 extra people or sponsors and board members who are clearly business people who don't wish to support upthemselves fc .

Why should they allow themselves to be eaten up and give monies and their sponsorships to a fan owned club?

I use the term upthemselves because of all the rubbish some of their members spout off

Er - Club 18-93 have not got any history !
( or very little of no interest, anyway )

I thought we had all agreed this is a dead thread - just as any suggested merger is - DEAD.

Club 18-93 get on with life in the ESL.
Town get on with life in the Ryman North.

Sorted.

No Wabby Man - GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT.

Club 18-93 in name only not in history.

Club 18-93 have about a year of history ( although they use the Enfield Name )and are a Ware, Hertfordshire, based Club.

Enfield Town FC have approx seven and a half years history and are based in ENFIELD.

Enfield FC were based in Enfield for "most" of their history and HAD approx 114 years history to reflect upon, before the Club was disbanded.

Neither Club 18-93 NOR Enfield Town F.C. can claim to have the history that was the Great non league Club, Enfield Football Club.R.I.P.

That is history Wabby Man.

Hilarious how you try to say we no longer have the history, I'd love to hear what you'd be saying if the circumstances had happened to you instead. The thread may stop if you'd stop replying to it all the time.
