For those who don't know, there will be a disco in the St Albans City Clubhouse following our final match of the season against Basingstoke this Saturday.

The party will kick off at 7.30pm
(is that right, HelenC?) and admission is free!!

Please come along to what promises to be a top evening!!

(NB. The Shirt Auction will now be held at the start of next season.)

Just thought I'd open this up again so we can hear all the sordid tales of what went on from those that can remember, should make for an interesting tuesday morning!

Oi cynic. Watch yourself mate. 99% of EFM were up before 9.30am this morning, to go and play a football (soccer) match. Final score was EFM rejects 9-4 EFM, although it was fairly mix and match. Highlights were

[*]Yours truly grabbing a goal for EFM (my first in three outfield appearances)
[*]Trevinho letting in a total of 10 goals in the match, 9 let in when he was playing for EFM and one let in when he was playing (in the first 5 minutes) for EFM Rejects.
[*]Colin Zeal had a bet with Bin Fadhel that if he (Zeal) scored a hat-trick, Fadhel would give him a Dead Brazilian. Zeal's first came about when Trevinho did a Dudek, caught the ball then dropped it at Zeal's feat. The second came when a long free kick from EFM_Costello was beautifully touched past the goalkeeper by my good self, and I unselfishly let Zeal stroke the ball home. Two goals scored, 1 more needed, and a whole half to do it in. Then. I score my goal. Excellent strike it was too. Then. Deep ball into the far post, I control it. See Zeal, two yards out, in front of goal. I could shoot, but decide to lay it off to Zeal. He then proceeds to sent the ball over the bar from all of two yards. 10 minutes from the end, a long ball sees Zeal clean through. Not realising the keeper's off his line, Zeal elects to shoot from 25 yards. The ball strikes the outside of the post. Still no goal, still no money. Minutes left, and EFM are 9-3 down. EFMTFTV requests to the ref (quite quietly) if EFM can have a penalty. The next time EFM are in the Rejects box, Lee Wood goes down under a punch from a blade of grass, or maybe the wind, and a penalty is given. EFM being the kindly souls that they are, Zeal is not allowed to take the penalty, thus preventing him from getting his monitos.

Oh yeah, the disco. Some other post, some other time, I'll tell you about it.

You forgot that I took the penalty and scuffed it wide, I was so desperate to score that I carried both teams shirts with me to join any attack and my 5 minute cameo in goal presented Mike with a simple tap-in after attemping to make a save from Geordie Dave look good when I could of just caught it.

And you forgot that Bin Fadhel wouldn't of paid CZ even if he had scored the hat-trick.

I thought that I'd stay away from your penalty miss as you wouldn't be too proud of it.

Did you not score today? Oh dear oh dear.

Every time I got the ball you and Zeal merged into one player for some weird reason, and I always ended up passing to Zeal, or someone else, or scoring, or effing it up.

Good night had by those that attended, I believe. Not much to note, although I am now aware of where I truly lie in C.Hart's top 5 EFM members. I was also told that C.Hart loved me (three times), whilst Greg Deacon was cornered for a long while, despite his gay lover being there.

Oi Laz, Zeal...get off my silky smooth rugby boxer shorts...

Anyone for an Aftershock?

GHA come on!! I don't think Kenny was too pleased either, he seemed really bored. However, when i bumped into him at Batchwood later on, he was well in with the girls!! He had about 3 of them hanging around him! he was definately making up from the time he lost earlier!!

Kenny? Who's Kenny? And what about Barry, was he 'lovin' it as well (or should that be 'glovin'?).

Dunno who Kenny was, i think he is Greg's mate, but i'm sure i've seen him before. he was kind of looking bored. it wern't my fault, Greg was loving the attention!

As for barry White, and him "not doing girlfriends" he wasn't too sure. By the end of the night i had gone off him, basically becuase he was a crap dancer!!!

No, really, out the two of them, it would definately have to be Greg! i mean, i'd love to be his Dorris!!!

Kenny Hull, keen amateur golfer and part-time ressie. Greg Deacon, he's only gay sometimes. He has a full-time Doris, however, and I believe that they are very much in love. Unfortunately for you, C.Hart. And me.
