seems they are up for the switch..makes sense from a travelling and money point of view..yet another big derby game.. plus they have as good achance of making the new conf south league in the ryman as they do in the DM.. surely once they move back to chelmsford they will attracting close to 1,000 for home games judging by what they pull in at the new lodge

They should be playing in the Ryman league why do they play in the Doc Martens. I think maybe with a bit of investment in players they could even be up their pushing for the title. It certinaly benefited Gravsend and Boston to which leagues within the pymraid system maybe it could have the same effect on Chelmsford. They have shown that they can destroy the second best that this league can offer.

If they ever settled into their own home I could see them as a serious item in the honours chase
They must also have the biggest potential non-league gates in Essex

Don't know what is happening concerning Chelmsford moving to Ryman but apparently Paul Parker has resigned as manager saying there is not enough money to strengthen the squad...and Welling's boss has retired.

Paul Parker's gone to Hornchurch, not doubt he was there yesterday too along with Stimmo, Borg etc.
