TACTICS

Recommended Posts

This is the thread to discuss your match tactics.

What works for you and what don't. What the opposition thrash you with or why they can't get out of their own half...

For me my most succesful tactic would be:

GK, DC, DC, DC, DMR, DML, DMC, MC, MC, AMC, FC.

The default tactics are complete [****!!****] on CM4 so I would suggest that you look very carefully at the natural style you like and make it happen.

Mentality, tackling, passing, focus passing and marking all have a lot to play in this game so get it right ASAP.

2-1-3-1-3 formation with hard tackling (2 defenders, 1 DMC, 3 central mids, 1 attacking mid, 3 central strikers) and a goalie if you're feeling daring!

averaging over 100 goals in the league each season

you concede a fair few, but longest no-losing streak was 118 games, so it does kinda work!

Not so much a tactic, but I find it good preperation to crack open a Bud Ice, and have some lightly 'olivioed' crackers on the go...

For a laugh, I played my GK in CM, 5AM's and 5 F's. Lost first 10 games, 20-1, 19-0 etc, etc, and only then did the board suggest that results could be better!!!! Kettering Town BTW
