FleetFanatic Posted May 1, 2003 Share Posted May 1, 2003 The Fleet - Conference to Premiership in 4 seasons..... .....well, that was the aim. So far it's Conference to Division 2 in 3 seasons! Promotion from division 3 was amazing - 18th in the table at Christmas - signed somebody called David Poole from Man Utd's youth team and bought ten Heuval (maybe mispelt ???) 63 goals from those two from Christmas to end of season and nicked third place on the last day of the season. Guest Posted May 11, 2003 Share Posted May 11, 2003 XBox - CM 02/03 Managing spurs (only because you cant be canvey <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> ), 1st season: signed portillio from real, joeleon lescott from wolves, pirlo from ?. top signings, portillio finished the league as top scorer, pirlo had an average rating of 7.9, and joeleon increased his transfer value by 2m (not bad for a 19 y.o) forth in the premiership runner up in F.A cup, semis of the league cup. west ham relegated <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> 2nd season: TRIPLE!! league winners, F.A winners and inter-tota winners west ham NOT in premiership <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> 3rd season: played 3, won 3.. scored 11 or 12. Matt H Posted May 12, 2003 Author Share Posted May 12, 2003 Just finished the 05/06 season on CM4, still as Leyton Orient... £7,000,000 in debt, (I'm in Administration), the Board & Fans are delighted with my performance. Promoted back into Div. 3 via the Conference Playoffs. Canvey finished 19th in the Conference and won the FA Trophy beating Halesowen 1-0. Interesting Points: Aldershot finished 5th in the Conference losing their playoff. Gravesend finished 8th in the Conference. Southend won the LDV Vans Trophy. Enfield are in Div. 3! After being sacked by Leeds twice in two seasons for poor player relationships, am now plyign my trade in the second division for Rushden and Diamonds... Finished my first season there in 14th position - above board expectations?? Apparently so... Made some shrewd summer signings including a 39 year old Zola as player coach, and after losing to Notts County 2-1 in our opening game we are steadily climbing the table and lie 4th in November...
