After last nights and this mornings deluge ,Conditions tonight might be a tad tricky. The Wodson surface takes a while to drain off I believe.

But lets hope our boys come good anyway. hump

And come good they did with a blistering opening to the second half . 3 goals in 5 minutes GREAT STUFF .

we had some sympathy for the southend manager as he Walked out of it with 25 mins left , He asked to get into the changing room , Got changed and as he was disappearing into the night he was shaken by the hand by our staff , see you in a few weeks then, He shook his head and said DOUBT IT and off he went . I did feel sorry for him.

I don't!!! What's he doing walking out on HIS team with 25 mins to go? That's when he was needed most. Talk about when the going gets tough.....

Unless a manager has received a message saying there is a domestic crisis that demands his urgent attention, no manager should voluntarily leave his team during a game, and one that does should not be allowed to return.

As I've said on the main forum, that makes more sense, I thought it was a bit extreme.
