congrats on a good result canvey, couldn't make it personally along with alot of other city based urchins.

don't blame the credit crunch or gordon brown, blame those twats who compiled the fixture list and didn't give us the bank holiday fixtures.

see you later on this season at the bridge.

what are the chances of us signing the hx keeper dale, i know he is local to the island, i think he would be a great signing for us and to have him and mel fighting to play would be fantastic!!

To be honest, it would be nice if this fixture was played on a normal run of the mill Saturday. Even Bank holidays some people can't make the game because of family commitments.

Imo i wasnt impressed with hornchurch but everyones entitled
to a bad game or was it because we played so well in the second
half that we made them look average???

Ive just seen on their forum that their manager has said they
dont have the funds of years gone by and they need to be patient.Well we dont have the funds of years gone by either and
i bet our current financial withstraints are worse than theirs.

Just going back to my point earlier about competition for places etc, where the hell has Dave Kreyling got to? According to the official website him and Blewer are the only ones not to feature so far this season. I've seen Blewer on the bench but no sign of Dave. Anyone?

i thought we played well first half without getting the crucial 2nd goal.Second half canvey were the better side and used the wind to their advantage to create mayhem in our box.A bit like watching stoke city attack in all honesty but if it wins you games then so be it.
And as for taking dale of us no chance,he told me he likes playing at an athletics stadium!

And he dropped quite a few high balls into the box.

He never controlled the six yard box at all!!

Despite the odd error I would rather have Rickys quality and all around technical abilty!!

Agree with you there.

Although i personally think Mel has been outstanding between the sticks over the last 2 games.
