ST ALBANS CITY have bolstered their squad with the addition of two signings, Rob Gould and Gary Sippetts, with the promise of more new names on the way.
Gould, snatched from the Doctor Martens Premier League outfit Tamworth is versatile two-footed defender who is happy playing anywhere along the back line.
Formerly of Ilkeston Town, the six foot plus defender - signed yesterday (Wednesday) - made 36 appearances last season for a Tamworth side that finished runners-up in the Doctor Martens Premier League, only two points behind Kettering Town.
"We're very happy to get him here," said Saints' co-manager Gary Roberts.
"He is a versatile player and will prove to be a valuable asset to the club."
