Looks like Maidstone United are having financial issues.

This credit crunch is really hitting hard now.

I think this is more down to the club not getting as much in grants from the F.A. as they were hoping for. Without the money they can`t start their own ground and are stuck paying rent for groundshairing which is obviously a drain on resources.

A Maidstone United playing in Maidstone would be a successful club, whether they can find someone with the money to take them back there has got to be a long shot at the present time.

I agree, just look at the success Dartford and Chelmsford have both had since "returning home".
