A bold move but, I think Owen should be dropped.
I liked what El Tel said the other day about 433 with it more like 451. The strikers playing wide.
Sheringham must play, so should Vassell. I'd like to see Fowler get a shout too, he is rated by many as the finest English goal poacher.
I'd feel safer with Martyn in goal, Seaman made some good saves the other day, but I think he should have saved the goal effort.

Martyn
Mills Ferdinand Campbell A. Cole
Becks Hargreaves Scholes
Sheringham Vassell
Fowler

Any thoughts?

I'm with you on having Vassell selected upfront LSoK. He had a great game before he was substituted on Sunday. I think him and Owen could be good together. Dispite Mills' blunder, he played well as well but how long do you reckon Becks will be on the pitch for?
If he plays well and stays on for a decent amount of time, he could win us the game.

Good Luck boys!

Nigel (Iron Chest) Martyn is too susceptible to shots anywhere near his chest.

Wes (I've Been Tango'ed) Brown was cr@p in the friendlies, whereas Mills made one mistake against Sweden, and one only.

Dyer isn't as great as people are making out to be, although he is still a good player.

Sinclair was cr@p in the friendlies before he joined the mile high club.

You've forgotten Owen Hargreaves.

GHA,

I know that with each World Cup, FIFA bring in a new set of rules etc, but I don't recall the one about being allowed to field 12 players at the same time.

That's the simplicity of it Colin. Fielding 12 players in a 5-3-3 formation is the answer to the question of how we go about beating Argentina.

If we are going to pump long balls up the field all night long, à la Graham Taylor, like last Sunday, why don't we just do away with the midfield completely and play a 5-0-5 formation? But please. no Wes Brown. If he is international class, I am a turnip.
