Why have you only signed a 12 month ground share agreement?

It doesn't seem a sensible basis upon which to make the investment that BB's Chairman seems to think is going to happen, and won't be sustainable enough to make you eligible for promotion.

why worry about what we are up to?

i would concentrate on getting the QE ground ready, surely theres enough work to be worrying about there - like the toxic waste under the grass banks. and raising the cash required to do all the neccessary ground improvements e.g. floodlights.

good to see the town on the up though few wins in recent weeks (probably get shot down in flames for saying that)

it will be interesting to see what the move does to the attendances -
i have a feeling it will probably add at least another 50-75 to the gate.
its also a superb playing surface certainly as good as anything outside ryman premier
we have just got to get up there in the ESL now - and put some pressure on romford.

the E's are playing some good fopoptball at the moment but because we a a bit behind have got to win all the crunch games coming up. Cant help thinking that sooner or later some team (hopefully takeley) are really going to get a hiding.
fingers crossed.

Have Broxbourne done a load of work to the pitch and the ground recently then?? When i last played there a few years ago,it was just a park pitch.

Ps..with the best will in the world,i very much doubt that moving to Broxbourne will almost double attendances. They will probably remain fairly stable.Maybe going up by 20-40 IF (when) you get back into the Ryman

Don't you have to have all the work done by April and the ground up to the required "standard" for the following season? Or has that ridiculous rule been changed?

Some of them are always quick to talk rubbish here, it's funny how much attention we receive even though we apparently have nothing to do with them

It always makes me laugh how you Townies are more interested in our business and yet we couldn't give a Rats-Ar$e about yours.

Now that is not very nice is it.

Perhaps the reason that Town supporters have an "interest" in Club 18-93, is because there is a common link back to the former Club EFC.
The majority of Town supporters are former EFC supporters and there lies the historic / common link - like it or not.

There is nothing wrong with Town supporters wanting the new Club 18-93 to do well and get promotion.

I think this thread started with questions about the BB ground being suitable / lease etc for that very purpose.

You need to calm down a bit. drinkies

Ah, thanks TG. I had overlooked the phrase "small amount" in the earlier post!

I hasten to add that I have wish to poke my nose in, just interested, that's all!
