You can get up to fun anyway, Lass.

I suppose having fun in Gravesend comes hard. After all, the name of the place says it all !

I knew a girl from Strood or Chatham or somewhere like that once, in my youth. We got barred from the bar at Victoria station.

I also knew a girl from Abbey Wood, who thought I looked like Steve Perryman, which at the time I took as a compliment. I was sick in her toilet, but very tidily, if I remember rightly.

The relevance (tenuous I grant you) is that to the best of my recollection those are my only sorties south of the river.

I was young and foolish.

[color:"blue"]Pity you're busy digging or I would have invited you south of the river over the next few days whilst I'm down there to partake of strawberries and yoghurt!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />[/color]

Oh Invisible !

The great Divide of North and South of the river.

In my day, the North belonged to the Krays, and the South to the Richardson's.

I was at Catford Dogs and then on to a hostelry in Catford the night of the shooting at "Mr Smiths".

Were they really the 'good old days' ??
