never heard of it.
Gonna ask anyway James:
.How came up with that?
.Celery, what's that got to do with football?
.How does it go?

1st time I have been on for a while. How the hell can Enfield F.C charge £8 to get in??? it must be a joke surely!! We have gone down a div, playing "lesser" teams than the like's of St albans, Canvey, Hendon etc.. etc.. no disrespect to the other 1st div clubs at all intended. Away fan's will stay away when they hear that!!
I thought we were ment to be encourageing people to come, not stop them comeing!!!!

What to stop every one comeing to enfield games! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
Who ever set's the prices at the club is in dream land, and should wake up and smell the sh*t they are talking at setting those prices!!!
Enfield will be the highest priced team in ryman div 1!!! followed by the crap wood!!!!!

Surely it would be quicker to kill the club off than putting it through a slow, agonising death?
They shoot horses, don't they?!

Oh look... Talk about takeing forever!!! A town fan starting AGAIN!!!!!
Hay if you paid to watch Enfield games then your opinion might have been vaild, HOWEVER seen as you are takeing the p*ss and dont even support the club f**k off.
If I or anyone else wanted YOUR opinion then we would have gave it to you!!!

Not too sure what that means but...
Can't really believe it's a positive step for the club. It's not gonna draw many more people along (unless that extra £1 from every fan is going to ensure a superb season). Surely the chairman should put HIS hand in HIS pocket rather than asking those who have stuck by the club despite his ineptitude to do so.

Anyway why is it that any bad thing goes wrong SOME town fans jump up and take the p*ss? As said b4 you have your own club get on with it and leave us alone!!!!

thankfully we live in a (allegedly) free country where we can all speak our minds.
If you call the previous comment taking the michael then that is your opinion(which , of course you are entitled to in a free country)
Many EFC fans contribute to the ETFC forum and are welcome. stifling debate is what our glorious politicians are into, but it's not for me
The fact remains that a certain person at EFC seems intent on killing it, slowly, as echoed by other EFC fans.
By the way, what are you going to 'give to me' next time you want my opinion?!!!!!

I must say it's cheaper to organise a furneral than pay silly money at borehamwood. if u taken in travel exspenses it will be nearer £20.

8 QUID......How can the club be justified in raising admission by 50 pence...when we are going down a league.
surely prices get CHEAPER as you go down the pyramid not more expensive....after all, the standard of football being offered(ie-the opposition) will be of a lower standard than last season.
I'm sure the standard last year for DIV 1,was between £5 and £6.50.

Before I go any further, this comment is NOT an attemp to justify the increase, it is meant to make you think!
Ideally, we would all love the prices to go down as we are now playing in a 'lesser' division but, this is the real world!
The costs of running the club have not gone down they have spiralled over the last few years (unlike the admission). Can anyone remember the last increase?
There is still travelling (petrol costs have increased), catering (food and drink costs have increased), refs etc (they are not reduced), lights, ground rent, players 'wages' (they are increasing all the time especially if you want quality), entry to the various competitions (not reduced), fines! (not reduced). Do you want me to continue?
Yes, I know an extra £1 may seem steep but, when all things are considered it isn't really. (Due to the wonderful tax man, I actually had a paycut this year. sob!). Terry has already shown his intent with the 2 signings announced so far and there are more on the way.
If you want to keep the increase to a minimum, purchase a season ticket - it can be paid by instalments. Just contact me for details.
