Before I go any further, this comment is NOT an attemp to justify the increase, it is meant to make you think!
Ideally, we would all love the prices to go down as we are now playing in a 'lesser' division but, this is the real world!
The costs of running the club have not gone down they have spiralled over the last few years (unlike the admission). Can anyone remember the last increase?
There is still travelling (petrol costs have increased), catering (food and drink costs have increased), refs etc (they are not reduced), lights, ground rent, players 'wages' (they are increasing all the time especially if you want quality), entry to the various competitions (not reduced), fines! (not reduced). Do you want me to continue?
Yes, I know an extra £1 may seem steep but, when all things are considered it isn't really. (Due to the wonderful tax man, I actually had a paycut this year. sob!). Terry has already shown his intent with the 2 signings announced so far and there are more on the way.
If you want to keep the increase to a minimum, purchase a season ticket - it can be paid by instalments. Just contact me for details.

Some fair points derek......apart from the ADMISSION PRICE/WAGE BILL part.
'
You are saying prices are going up,partly, because the 'wage bill' is increasing.......if so, we should have seen a decrease in prices last season when the wage bill was dramaticaly reduced.
Think on..........If spurs got relegated, then decided to increase admission, for the following season in Division1...how do you think the fans would react.
