as said previously it was pathetic but it was necessery for the staines stewerds to get involved and no not because they were being over zealous

i wasnt there, fortunately... i just wonder if they thought they were safe due to the whole Whitby thing? someone said that once news of the Whitby score filtered through, they upped the tempo and got the goal...

 

either way, it doesnt excuse a bad performance. they still should have gone for it anyways, whether they thought they were safe or not

Staines stewards did not need to step in; fellow Margate fans prevented anything from happening. The stewards then just threw their weight in to make it look like they were doing something.

Agreed Mike, at the end of the day it was a misunderstanding and the person mainly involved apologised for this after the game.
