Saturday Again

Recommended Posts

I know someone who has been to his house.

All you'll find in the kitchen is Pasta, Pasta, and more Pasta, with bottles and bottles of spring water and fresh fruit juice.

Not a drop of alcohol in sight, apparently.

Another one of K.B.'s discards !

Ron (Chopper) Harris used to live half a mile from me.

Now there was a man who enjoyed a pint in the 'close' season !

I've had a beer or two with Micahel Duberry, of all people. He went to school with my mate. Lovely chap. Still lived with his mum, despite being in the Chelsea first team.

Kevin Campell used to live round the corner from me when he was at Arsenal so, being young scamps, we used to pee in his garden.

Interestingly, I discovered that young Kimi Raikonnen lives in Chigwell. What a bizarre choice for a ridiculously wealthy, young F1 driver!

If Kimi gets things right and has a good season, I bet he'll be off to Monte Carlo to live with the others !

Wish I was 18 again. Chigwell eh!!!! I always wanted (still do) to drive a F1 car. I've driven a F3.

COOL!! I've done a bit of karting and driven friends cars (Porsche 911, Ferrari 350 and Lotus Elise). Although the most fun was in my ex's Mazda MX5! I'm sure had I driven the sports cars flat out, it would have been a whole different ballgame!

All illegally, since I dont have a license.
Bit late for me to become an F1 driver though.

My old boss was a toff. He had the Porsche 911. It was a beautiful old 1985 model, with the air-cooled engine. It made the greatest noise and p!ssed all over a number of modern sports cars. His mate let me drive his old Ferrari, although I'm not a fan of the prancing horse in general.

A mate of mine had the Lotus. Lovely little thing.

As have irate wives!
[color:"blue"] Er don't you think Newport Pagnell is still a bit too close to Enfield if that's the case!

As for wandering - I had more of a purposeful stride in mind.
[color:"blue"]Wouldn't the thought of the above put you off your stride!

[color:"red"] No, she can't drive! But maybe Leicester Forest might be safer!

[color:"red"] No, it's likely to lengthen my stride!
