Not good enough offensively .
We await at least three quality signings to avoid another season with a sterile attack .

Agreed Alan. I think we're looking at two strikers, more cover in defence (what happens if Francis or Trott gets injured?) and another midfielder (or two if Benno goes) to have decent squad cover.

Oh, and a keeper now as well!

Still, it's only May - I'll be worried only if this is still the situation come late July.

Rob can fill in for Mark !!! Lets raid some of Margates side. They've got some decent players. Id be interested to know what Margates P+L was like last yr.. They had poor crowds and even managed to splash out on Sigere.

Rumour is that Leon Braithwaite is off to join Jacko and Jake Leberl to Dover.

Lee Shearer has been outed. (not a rumour)

Another one playing Mark Bentley out of position to accomodate Tostao.

Midfield should be (IMHO)

Bentley ®
McKimm ©
Strouts ©
Hogg (L)

Tostao and Rob Owen on the Bench.

If Mark goes then Rob steps in

Lets not expect magic from Hogg..He wasnt an automatic first teamer at Welling who were a bottom half side while he also played for Dover in a relegated team.... Strouts is past his best, was last year and has been for a couple of years IMHO.

In which case, based on the players that we have, you have Paul Sturgess at left back and Justin on left side of midfield.

We don't have anyone better than Jimmy for the centre of midfield, and he is a much better player when he has Steve McKimm alongside him.

Due to a well-documented knee problem, he isn't going to be offered a contract.
However, he has been made some sort of offer and will decide after a holiday.

Thats good news, last season(feels weird saying that!)he seemed a very calm and expierenced player, just what we needed. With Wilkins and Burton gone we do need defenders so him staying is excellent, also he does work with the PASE scheme which is the way forward!

Not worried about line up yet lets get through June, Andy said in the local rag he needs at least another five players, plenty of time.
