Cheer Cheer Cheer on the Fleet.
Whose up for drawing up statistics on all the players used last season? Some interesting reading methinks, rather.

Lets consolidate and push for promotion next season.
Europe beckons the Fleet hordes.
Been away from the football scene for a while but kept tabs on the Fleet.

no surrender and keep it real.

ps in reference to the Terrace Moaners - Football is a mans game and if the players can't accept that then they shouldn't represent us.

LOL

two points to be made here, 1. i think you mean Weren't we relegated, not wasn't......In which case I can turn around your people in glass houses spiel, as you have a poorer grammatical knowledge than myself.....2.Football league being the operative word, something the your team have never been in. Thats like taking the piss out of me for losing a million pound, when you've never had a million to start off with....comprende pedro

Nope because as far as I can tell there was only one Shrewsbury relegated.

A pedant speaks......can be either actually. Singular as in one team were relagated, or plural as a collection of players (ie Shrewsbury) were relegated.

Any how Shrewsbury went down

Can I have a go as well?

"Thats" should have an apostrophe, "something the" should be "something that" and a "million pound" is surely plural?

Detention for you shrews.

OK....Football League is two words.
Should be 'something in which your team have never been'

Roll on the new season when we have something more interesting to talk about (I hope)

To be even more pedantic than the self-confessed pedant, a collection is singular, ergo, the use of was, rather than were, is correct.
