The Dagenham website's guest book has been closed "because of abuse" and I couldn't get into the Boston page.

According to the BBC Steve Evans has been suspended by the club.

Boston suspend Evans

 

Boston United have suspended manager Steve Evans pending an internal club inquiry.

The move comes a week after the FA announced a series of charges against the Pilgrims, Evans and former chairman Pat Malkinson concerning "contract irregularities".

 

The club have also confirmed that Pat Malkinson is stepping down as a director.

 

Assistant Manager Neil Thompson has taken temporary control of team affairs.
