What I cant fathom is how sites like the old Ripaults factory get presovation status & an icon non league stadium can disappear beneath a bloody burger bar.
Still at least we still have the memories MFM.

I remember playing there in a school Cup Final 21 years ago when I was 12. St Bernards vs Cardinal Pole which we (St Bernards) won 2-1 and I was captain. Still remember it vividly.

Moved from Enfield in 1986, had a trial in 1975 so at least i can say I played on the old pitch, and the swimming baths at the back, memeories....the councillors must have been the same ones who stitched Wimbledon up when they were in Merton.
Hope you get back to the dizzy heights again, always were my second team, come on u E's.

The Wimbledon situation was totally different as they moved out of the borough as the ground was too small and too expensive to bring up to the safety standards of the time.

Southbury Road was still fit for purpose and sold out from under us.
