WHERES THE CRICKET BEING PLAYED TODAY

He is probably the most athletic gut playing in the whole test match

Sorry but I couldn't resist - the images going around my head are far too amusing!

Just goes to Show keep faith in Alec Stewart!!!

Totally agree here. I thought England were going to do their usual collapse until I realised it was Nasser out, not Alec (honestly Nas, first 24 balls and only scored off 2 of them!).

Shame for Key as I like to see young players get a good start. McGrath looks pretty useful though. Let's hope he keeps it up.

298-5. Now let's build on it.

LMU my offspring could tell you a tale or two about Mr McGrath (Ants) they know him and his brother Dermott [/color]

If the new guy Johnson bowls as he just batted, (24 off 11 balls, only 5 scoring deliveries!) it should make for some good entertainment. Shame I'll be in my other office at the time and so won't be able to listen.

Yeah they're following on. The score is....err...ha ha ha! 5-1!!! Anderson got the wicket after just 5 deliveries (and it was a golden duck). Excellent!

As to the Urchinette question. Well, it's never really crossed my mind to be an Urchinette. Besides, injury prevents me from doing most things at the moment. I am simply a fan, nothing more, nothing less.

Injury? I hope that's nothing too serious!

Alas, it's not the 1st time I've done it. It'll be fine after I've had my ligament replaced!

Still, no use crying over spilt milk, eh?

Hmm, we're in the 5th over and only 1 wicket has tumbled!

Ouch sounds nasty! The injury not the cricket I mean. You seem to like your cricket LMU?

It's a superb sport.

I'm hoping to go to a match this summer but finding someone will to join me seems a bit of an impossible task unfortunately. Maybe I should use the old "I'm planning to simply sit outside in the sun all day and consume copious amounts of alcohol" trick!

I think if you used that excuse you would get loads of people wanting to come with you. I suppose it would be an experience to go to a cricket match.

Personally i'm not keen on the sport but wouldn't turn down the opportunity of seeing an international match.

A few years ago I was in Leeds on the final day of the final test when England played South Africa. England needed 1 more wicket to win while SA had to get around 30 runs. Because the game wouldn't have lasted long, it was free entry. Half an hour later SA were all out and England won the series!

They're coming back later this summer I think, maybe I should round some people up.
