Town host league newcomers Wadham Lodge on Saturday. Kick-off is at 2pm and the reserves also have a home game (can't remember who against frown) which kicks off at 4pm.

Town move into 2nd spot with a 1-0 win over visitors Wadham Lodge. The goal was scored in the first minute and fooled a latecomer into thinking that the result was a 0-0 draw. The reserves gained their first win of the season with a 3-2 win over visitors Southminster St. Leonards. Scorers to follow later!

Two wins, a sunny day, a perfect result for our sponsors Family Mosaic. :applause:

Ross Barrett scored the winner for the first team with a Tom Wolff brace and another from Jason Potter winning the game for the reserves. Rookie will have a team selection problem when the players come back from injury and suspension in a couple of weeks!

Beeswax,

I thought that when ever you mentioned the name Jason Potter you had to prefix it with veteran, like you did in all your reports last year  You have dissapointed me

I always blamed the Echo for that  Talk me through your goal as I wasn't there to witness it! :frown:
