Tis very good news, with JG, DW and BL coming back and JD not getting off the bench last saturday, I don't envy you your selection problems to come! :grin: However that's a problem that you welcome. :grin: The squad will become stronger and the reserves will have to start turning in performances to get in the first team and the first team will have to continue to give 100% to retain their positions. Any chance of MB coming back? BTW were MOB Jnr and Sam injured last week?

I though MB had gone to Witham but there's no sign of him on their website. He's not in the first or ressie squads

AO'B has a trapped nerve in his hip, don't know about SS.

What happened to Sean Xmas?

Sean xmas = no idea
SS = Played for ressies on sat
AOB = Injured
MB = No Idea

Saturdays 2 teams selected from 41 squad players each week. Every week gets harder to leave people out. Believe it or not but we have some excellent young players coming through still to get a chance.

Off Topic, but it appears that the firsts have no game on 3rd Oct.

It is the first round of the Senior League Cup that day, where Town are drawn away to Westhamians, yet for some reason Westhamians are playing a league game at home to Frenford Senior that day, leaving Town with no game???

Roll on Saturday, Town were thumped 8-0 by Upminster in April in their penultimate game of last season, so revenge is due.

Not bothered with revengejust three more points. Cant really talk about revenge when both teams are probably much changed from April.

Last night Wadham drew 4-4 with Catholic Utd.

YOU might not be!!! But I bet those that played will be looking redress the balance. Also a few of last season's Ramsden side are now at Upminster, so I expect Saturday's game to be "competitive"! :futbolbud2:

draws by other clubs must be good for us! :grin:

If Wadham Lodge were playing under floodlights, they must be using the old Waltham Forest FC pitch which is Isthmian standard not the intermediate standard pitch next door!

how did training go last night?

It does seem odd! Perhaps there's an admin error that hasn't been cleared up because the League Secretary/Webmaster is away. Perhaps Dave who I know lurks on here has the answer? Hiya Dave :welcome:
