well.. the machines are digging to zion or whatever it is where all the freed humans live.. the humans are now living in some huge acid house rave party gangsta rap place made of metal prefab boxes built around a huge church..(dagenham?).. neo and a rather overweight morpheus and some chick in leather pants go into the matrix to find the keyholder and the gate keeper (er hang on ghostbusters anyone?) or soemthing like that.. DO NOT READ ON IF YOU HAVN'T SEEN IT YET!!!!.... well natch neo makes it to his goal and confronts the creator type bloke or program that tells him that the human rebellion against the matrix is an essential part of the program .. this is its 6 th time around and the machines have destroyed zion each time.. neo has 2 choices to make and natch chooses the different one to the previous 6 'ones' and there you have it all set for the next one .. nice touches include the blonde twins using cut throat razors.. very sensible, how long till some 13 yr old does a pensioner with one for dissing him, and the chocolate cake the blonde bird ate, do they do that in tescos? not sure what agent smith was about other than having the coolest voice in movies at this current time

Heh heh. Thanks, Canv. That 'clears it up' nicely!

Was it just me, or is the 'plot' a bit like those adventure books in the 80s - choose the left door to save humanity, choose the right door to battle some monsters. Half the characters were (at least thus far) unnecessary, and seen one kung fu scrap, seen 'em all as far as I was concerned.

Still, it was fun to watch all the pikeys in the cinema drift off during The Architect's speech - they didn't have a clue what any of the big words meant.

I agree CANV, the trailer to 2 Fast 2 Furious looked ok, but I didn't like the first one so I won't be going to see that. Dumb & Dumberer is going to be a complete joke....The two films I want to see this Summmer are Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines & The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen!

As for the Matrix Reloaded it was left on a Cliffhanger nicely...

***SPOILER WARNING***

I can't believe Neo let Zion get destroyed just cause he wanted to save Trinity from falling out of that building! Naturally the only Survivor from Zion getting destroyed was the bad-guy and all will be revealed about him in The Matrix Revolutions in Autumn. Novemeber I think it's coming out...Well Thanksgiving in America!
Hugo Weaving who played Agent Smith was very cool. The fight scene in the park after Neo had seen the Oracle left me giddy, the camera movement was superb and the action was so fast and intense it had to be done with CGI. The fight on the 'Freeway' was very cool too. The dreadlocked twins were excellent although judging by the reviews and photos Reloaded got I thought they would actually have more screen time than they did.

All in all once you got past the first half an hour of the rave at Zion and Neo & Trinity shagging in their little 'home', it's actually a superb film. I thought it was better than the first one...and the biggest spoiler of them all is that the opening five minutes of the film is also the last half and hour too!!
