Back to the orginal point of the Euro, I don't think we should join it now,for many of the reasons previously stated but i think that years ago the government went wrong with Europe, the UK is one of the most important countries in Europe and we have alot of influence,if we'd have been more forward and more pro-europe in the first place we could be making the decisions instead of the position we are in now where we are being pushed about by the other countries, and the government is going along with it,ignoring the feelings of the average person.

Lets be honest ! Europe want to screw us !

Germany really want to shaft us. (Shades of 1914-1918 and 1939-1945 and all that !)

The countries that are applying to join the 'Community' now, are the poorer ones, that see lots of lovely pond notes to aid their failing economies. (Poland is one in question).

Interestingly enough, my local radio station, (Mecury), is running a text-poll on this very subject. I will post the result when broadcast tomorrow.

The Euro debate is just the thin end of the wedge !

Once we've joined that, the French, especially, will really start to put the squeeze on our beloved democracy !

Yes,they will do now(especially after ignoring the UN and going to war anyway)but my point is if we had been more decisive and been a real part of Europe we would be the one's influencing them, and we wouldn't be being "shafted".

Exactly fleet boy !

As an 'older' poster on this site, I voted AGAINST going into Europe in the first place.

Since then, we have seen the Spanish and Portugese virtually destroy not only our fishing industry, but our fish stocks as well.

The French reckon our beef is 'Merde', and our Lamb only fit for dragging from transporters and burning.

Then again, I think their Golden Delicious are crap, and as for their LETTERS !! Well...........................

We do not have to be shafted by anybody

The only way we will be shafted is by stealth via un-elected Euro government

The French and Germans ( do not forget 1966) are aware of this and will use the back door to break down our success as an embarrassingly successful country which is outside of the common currency

There is only one sound economical reason to be market partners and that is the market

There is only one reason for further movement into the "United States of Europe" and that is political

May God save us from politicians and control freaks

The entire journey has been one of broken promises

Below is a postng from our head of security

It really helps BNP and others when outright criminal gangs are fast tracked in with no background check

Again those nice bleeding heart liberals never have to live with the problem

We should put A-Seekers in porta cabins with basic plumbing heat and comfort until a full security check is completed

"Quote" Distraction Thefts

Please be aware that in recent weeks a number of 'distraction' thefts have occurred in London and are currently being investigated by the City of London Police, the details of which are outlined below.

Incident 1

After an unaccompanied female had withdrawn a large amount of cash from an ATM in Fenchurch Street, she was approached by a male who squirted a tacky and unpleasant smelling substance over her back. She was immediately approached by two other males and a female who, whilst assisting her to remove the substance, stole the £910 she had just withdrawn. The theft was not discovered until sometime later. Information from the Police suggests that the offenders were of Eastern European appearance.

Incident 2

Gangs of criminals are now targeting bars, restaurants and other places of entertainment, where they steal mobile phones and other valuable items from unsuspecting owners who leave them laying on bar counters and tables. Maps and begging letters are used as props to cover unattended mobile phones. The owner is distracted by an accomplice whilst the original gang member picks up the mobile phone, which is now hidden from view. The theft is not discovered until sometime after the gang have made good their escape."quote"

true story....I went over to Harrods (the peoples store) a couple of weeks ago and got involved in a discussion with a sales assistant about a watch in the sale there....

whilst all this was going on I spotted three or four very unhealthy looking 'undesireables' behaving in a very ifffy way at the next counter...which just so happened to be stuffed with expensive designer watches......

I said to the assistant...don't worry about me love..I'm in no hurry but I'd suss that lot if I were you''.....

she said......

'we can't...we've been told to leave them...they're in here all the time making a nuisance of themselves....'

couldn't make it up couldya......

no deterrent......no order....

top 'em all I say.......

And how exactly does this differ from the East Enders in Oxford Street with their fake perfumes and three-card tricks? Or are you objecting to foreigners muscling in on 'our' crime?

Certainly not and per head of our population we have the norm in criminal fraternity

So why import known criminal gangs from another countries known criminal fraternity

Or do you believe they only became polished at those crimes as they fell out of the lorry
