I'd bring in an expereienced manager with a proven record of winning the ESL.Why not bring Jim Chandler out of retirement. He's won the ESL twice recently. :coffee (2):

Russ-There's never an easy league to get out of, but one main factor is do you have the money to get out of the league, cos for all of Jim's achievements, he also had a financial input to the task. I take my hat off to the passion that exists in the running of your club but I do not believe that there is the depth there to kick on.

Now Russ you know the guys at the Town, ask yourself, how strong would a club be with a joint 'Enfield' club be? I and many have repeated ourselves on the matter again and again, but I do so in despair at what everyone has allowed to happen in the EFC fall out. I can see us Townies moving onwards and upwards and it would be better if it was on a United front with 1893 as well, but thats just my view.

russ - the performance on saturday was the worst i've ever seen at any level. i felt sorry for wrighty - not a prayer with the 4 outfield goals. although not sure what he was up to with the pen but by then thoughts had turned to home.
- people trying to chest the ball down in the penalty area when under no pressure and just missing the ball - presenting oppo forwards with a tap in.
Full backs who looked like they had never even played before - shocking. basic stuff really -
i'd better stop here as i'm bound to put my foot in it somewhere -
but that was truely awful.
just as well BGU werent up to much a decent side would have had 10. - the curtly ambrose look alike up front should have had at least 3.

still its only another 7 months to go to the cricket season.

what a rubbish performance.
It would be nice if we had half the 1st team squad turn up to some games too..
Does anyone else get the impression that most of the team are not putting in 100%? Oshin runs his socks off EVERY game aswell as Lee, but where is the commitment and determination from the rest of the team?

To all paying supporters of the club the board and the chairman,

I must sincerly apologise on behlaf of the team for yesterday. What is going on is not acceptable and hopes to be firmly addressed soon. I can see such results are hurting you as much as they do me, but when I only have 13 players to choose from on a match day (of which both subs were a left back and a defensive midfielder)...questions do certainly need answering if we are to have any success this season.

The Answer is simple Graeme , WE NEED A MONSTOR CLEAROUT !!! of certain people

How is it that every week players are not "AVAILABLE" we dont need players that cry off with work commitments or in the case of two or three I could mention GO ON HOLIDAY during the course of the season !!! What the **** is happening here. Are we some kind of travel agency or what ! Where were these Gentleman on Saturday BRAD NELSON , Marcel Jones, Chris Parillon , Sam Winston, Neil Hughes ,Anthony Cahill ,Steven Ahoua-Boua I know had a genuine excuse .Where is the AWOL "Wayne Grant" Is he still registered here If so whats his excuse ? These players are needed due to the Injury crisis that the club is experiencing with Wes Borghys ,Kieron Woodward , Chris Green, Lee Allen limping off on 16mins didn't help and Guy Bonwick oversea's Its no wonder we got tonked when players are unavailable on this scale. There are of course players that look badly out of form Elvis and Geoff in particular although I understand they had to play due to lack of players . What pisses me off is that several clubs in this League dont even pay their players and yet the players of these clubs are all willing and able to "turn up" take us on and quite often give us a decent game . I wont be going to APSA on Thursday or Southend manor on saturday enough is enough I'm not going to waste my money for the next couple of weeks . I know someone will be hacked off by this but I dont give a **** anymore .

I'm sure Garf is just speaking out of frustration F D. You can only play what turns up and in our case on saturday that wasn't much to be fair .

However I do see your point ,you are a decent side and should be a rival for Burnham at the finish line.

I have every confidence in Kevin Lucas malc , we have only just missed out on the title for two seasons . Its got to the stage where certain players commitment is in serious question and they just need to "GO"!! .

I saw Jim Chandler in Wickes(Waltham Cross) recently on a saturday afternoon . It doesn't look like he's in football at the moment . Mind you he looks 10 years younger though, without you lot howlling for his head .

A Wayne Grant scored in Fisher's 2-1 win against Kingbury LT in the London Senior Cup last week.
