Town had a comfortable win away at Shenfield AFC today. After spurning many first half chances, Town finally took charge after Garry Morrison scored following great work by Ross Barrett. Ross put the result beyond doubt when he beat the keeper with a low header from the edge of the penalty area.

Town reserves beat Thames Park in the 1st round of the Essex Junior Cup by 3-2 after extra time. Joe Davies with a brace and Tom Wolfe scored for Town.

I wonder how Cranes got on at Catholic?

I'll settle for that! Newham are still the dark horses though with the only unbeaten record.

I see that Runwell got tonked 7-1 at home to Old Chelmsfordians!
