That's right - yellow and black. Quite by chance I was in Birmingham at the weekend and decided to watch the Moor Green-Halesowen tie.
Here's a few points. First, at our best we should have no trouble although they are going well at the moment and are third in Dr Martens Western Division.
Strong at home and they are very good defensively. The Collins brothers - Lee and Ross - are very useful. They were playing 4-4-2 and getting the ball forward quickly to the front men Leroy May is 32 but has the experience and could be a handful. Use to play in the Conference with Enfield.
I think it may be difficult going through the middle but they look a bit dodgy down the flanks. Going down to the by-line and crossing early could cause them problems.
Reckon a 3-1 scoreline in Gulls favour would reflect the difference in class and standard between the two teams.
Ancient Blue

Quite right Spitfire.
We've always played in blue & white, until about 4 years ago when we sold our soul and started plying in yellow and black (our sponsors corporate colours).
Fortunately we've now reverted to our old colours.
It's good to see a bit of confidence from you lads (Ancient Blue) but we're playing well with a 100% home record and we haven't conceded a goal for over 11 hours of football.
Hope to see you all in the Waggon.
Guy

We definitely play in blue tops and white shorts now. We did a dodgy deal with a local sponsor for a few years and played in their corporate colours of yellow and black for a while. We're now (thankfully) back in our traditional colours.
The Waggon and Horses is highly recommended and is the pub of choice for home fans before the game. Don't be put off by it's rough looking exterior. It's by far the friendliest pub in Halesowen, and some of the more respectible looking pubs can be a bit rough.
We're very much looking forward to playing Canvey, and are quietly confident we'll give you a good game.
Cheers
Poll
Webmaster - http://www.yeltzland.net
