Good thing is we have well and truly stopped the recent losing spell and at the same time we all feel we should have had 9pts from the last 3 games, all positive bearing in mind we still have 20+ league games to go and we are at the right end of the table. Concord on Tuesday I think and an opportunity to put right the recent trophy defeat and how the newer players fair against the team that played that day. 3pts on Tesday will more than make up the 2pts 'dropped' on saturday.

I dont think it was 2 points dropped. It was one point hard fought for both sides and won by both sides.

Apologies. Thick fingers and sensitive keyboard.

A draw was a reasonable result against a side who clearly have play off ambitions. I believe that Heybridge will finish above Thamesmead this season. They were a far better side than Thamesmead.

Agree with that... we might have just been the better side on chances, but they had a really good go second half, and 1-1 is probably right in the end. I had Dave Bastian as MoM, worked very hard, and scrapped for every tackle / header.

Not bad, an away draw is not to be sneezed at and it sounds like it was a good hard fought match. Well done and keep up the recent improvements! I had text updates from the Lowestoft match from Invisible Young Man and that sounds a great perfomance, and we were unlucky not to win (or threw it away, however you look at it).
