I was just getting worried <p>Sorry about my outburst, in the other post - it wont happen again.<p>I think I am going to enjoy it here - a friendly bunch of people.<p>It would be nice, if we could spread the word a bit - mind you I see the number of members is slowly creeping up....<p>Also - is it just me, or are non-league sites busier during the week - i.e. everyone is browsing from work, rather than home?<p>Looking at one of the soccerlink hit lists below, the number of visitors goes down a lot at the weekend.<p>Later...<p>Wealdstone Fan.

welcome Wealdstone fan, we go in for a bit of joshing on here, thats not a problem (i'm prob the biggest offender) you're right its a friendly forum this, well constructed by our Canvey friends and its clean! I think the slow growth in members is better than a rapid one or you get new people upsetting the goodwill of the board before they settle down. Thats a common pattern to internet messageboards someone sees an item posted, takes umbrage, signs on in a hurry and posts an angry and personal reply. Thanks for the welcome.<p>Was this set up by a Canvey fan(s) then - I see no evidence of that?<p>I think that the site has been been well designed, and I look forward to the links section growing - it is about time that the non league scene had a decent links site.<p>Up until now - all the other sites, have tried to cater for either a national links set-up or even an international one, meaning that grass roots clubs are pushed further and further down the pile.<p>Let's get a few more web sites linked there...<p>I shall shut up now and go and hide...

But it is not aiming at forcing Canvey down everyone's throat, merely an attempt to create a truly independent forum for all non-league clubs to join, should they wish. The great advantage as I see it is that we get regular communication between fans from all over without the need to keep jumping from one site to another, logging in at each one and trying to remember a load of different passwords.<p>The Canvey section of this board is not quite a liveley as the old Below Sea Level discussion board, but it is growing. The greatest gain is the way we have been able to take the p**s out of Carjam, Iron Knob, Irony, Gazza and loads of others who we would not normally correspond with. (Have to say, they give at least as good as they get, if not more - but it's all genuine fun).<p>The Wealdstone websites are a case in point. With at least eight of them, where do I go, as an outsider, to make a comment/insult/compliment?<p>I know that there are more improvements in the pipeline for this site and suggestions are always welcome.<p>Merv
