Hi guys. Nice to see most of you at the game again on Saturday, even if it was bloody freezing!!! Of a neutral point of view regarding the game, I thought it was a very poor game of football. Obviously pleased the E's got the 3 points but the standard of football wasn't great from either side. I thought it was very '100mph football' with very little control of the game. Howver, this was a very much changed Clapton side of previous years and I feel recent praise of the way they were trying to pass their way to victory is slightly justified. They are, though, very naive and far far too inexperienced. Should this team stay together for a couple of seasons, there is no reason they can't challenge at the top of the table.

Enfield obviously had that experience and when push came to shove, had that extra bit of quality to win the game 2-0. Lee Benmore still remains vital to your push for promotion and with every other game being a draw at the weekend, a sustained run of victories will give Burnham something to think about. Both he and Lee Allen had that right hand side tied up and were by far and away the most composed players on the pitch.

All in all, it was good to get the 3 points, good to see the regulars again, and also sad to see some things never change regarding a couple of unnamed players!!! I guess thats non-league football for you!!

Good luck for thr rest of the season and might pop over again before the end of April...should things at the top of the league get interesting!!!!!
