Hey YA have you been celebrating down at the Canvey Festival? The Monico is PACKED!!! Don't know about the Windjammer though...

 

The music's been pretty poor from what I heard of it, but then you're probably so pissed you'd sing along to anything!!!

Funnily enough I did see you mate, I was walking along the seawall and caught a glimpse of someone wearing a Canvey shirt, I looked back and you were in the cafe bit by the Lifeguard post. You had your back to me so probably didn't notice me.
Half the music seemed to be little kids of about 5 or 6 singing!!

Big day today so I thought I'd help my Nan out at the Cafe, (She runs it) earn a bit of money and enjoy the Festival at the same time!!! Only disadvantage being I had to wait till now to hit the Alcohol!

 

I saw The Great Eckscape down there once I'd finished...(Nice shirt by the way Glen!)

Yeah I saw somebody else wearing the new Canvey shirt but not sure who it was. Windjammer seemed pretty packed.

Funniest thing that happened today was a kid from Brentwood, must've only been about 9/10 came up to me saw my shirt and goes "Who the hell are Canvey Island?!" <img src="/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

I've worn my Canvey shirt all over the place, France, Belgium, Norfolk, London. Funniest thing was in Norfolk wearing my Canvey shirt I bumped into a Port Vale fan. He just looked at my shirt and said "oh no not you lot again"!

chamonix last march'ish or whenever england played that shocker against the mickey mouse team in our euro qualifer group.. we all went down the pub in the ski resort to watch the match so i thought i'd treat the lads to my canvey away shirt.. the bloke behind the bar clocks the badge and looks distraught (spelling?) .. takes off his fleece to reveal a pristine northampton shirt... marvellous!

Alright Matt. The bright shirt was due to Valentino Rossi racing at Donington Park in the MotoGP - which he won! I only came down to see Freddie Mercury, but he had already been on!

Hey Glen, is it true that Rossi has been stripped of his win today? I only caught a glimpse of a headline on BBC Sport so I'm not 100% myself...

Yeah, thanks for that information Matt. You certainly know how to cheer someone up after the heartache of missing Freddie! Still, if you pass under the yellow flags you take what comes, even if you are the nuts of a bike racer!
