The road forward

Good news for anybody who has not been down to the ground lately. The new link road from the roundabout at the bottom of Springhead Road has been opened and after two roundabouts and a trip past the lake and the bulding site that is the Ebbsfleet Station you emerge ast the front door of...............Stonebridge Road. It's brilliant and means that you don't have to negotiate the Hill or Northfleet High Street.

....and looking at the width of it, should be able to park on it for a nice easy journey home!

Used the new road a few times myself. There are a few Premiership Clubs out there that would be jealous of G&N's new road access - all we need now is a Premiership Stadium

 

Hopefully the Club will be able to pursuade KCC to put some road signs up coming off the A2, Springhead roundabout and along the new road giving directions to the ground.

On the point of roadsigns I drive through Aveley to work each morning and the sign on the roundabout just under Junction 31 of the M25 has already been changed from Purfleet to Thurrock FC.

 

Obviously things move faster in Essex!!!

Only because the old sign was nicked
