Say what you like about Liam,but whenever he played,you EXPECTED things to happen,and usually did.He gave 110% and though he didn't get as many goals as he should have done he made chances for others.My only gripe is that he was sold at a bargain price,£50,000 would have been more realistic.

I think that being with a full time side and him now being able to completly concentrate on his footy he will turn out to be a decent striker.

Apparently, he popped into one of his locals in the town and appologised for his transfer. That just about sums the lad up. Lovely fella. Good luck to ya, mate. Myself, I'd rather play full time football for Barnet than clean cars for a living. Time to go full time?? Oh for the money..... does anyone know a wealthy Russian?

As much as it pains us to see a player leave, it's the way of the game. I wish Liam all the best in the future.

 

 

And perhaps in a while, players will be leaving other teams to come to us so as to further their career. We'll get there

Andrew Drury has done just that. In the long term I think he can be worth more than Liam. He is pure quality - you will soon forget Mark Bentley.

Firstly.......good luck Liam and thanks for the entertaiment over the past couple of seasons.....try and aviod scoring against Gravesend when playing for Barnet though please !!!

 

Secondly, agree with Charles, liked the look of Drury on Thursday, as did my learned friend Wapman.....and a cracking goal as well !

I saw Liam on the news yesterday..the bloke behind the friendsreunited website,a barnet fan, has paid £5000 to play for 5minutes against Arsenal!They showed a clip of the team training and he was there.

Apparently, his first game in a Barnet shirt is going to be against Arsenal. What a debut, eh? Talking about arses and shirts, some toe-rag ripped my washing line down and nicked my Fleet away shirt today. I hope the little sh*t catches something from it. Knowing what I've done in it he probably will!!
