CIFC V NTFC

A tiny little club like ours are making NTFC more money this round than they will make at this stage of FA cup than ever again.<p>£100,000 from Sky 1/3 of the gate.

Their directors must be happy to get a meal ticket from a non league club.<p>2-1 to the mighty yellows

Draw Man U away, put £500,000 in the bank and plan for the conference.

I bet there is quite a few League Teams wanting to draw us away in the next rounds of FA Cup, just so they get there mits on this much needed TV money. After all we are the Team that the neutral fans and Media will want to watch.

you summed it up pal cream of NON LEAGUE FOOTBALL,

and remember no matter what happens on the 9th of December we will be a league club and you will be NON LEAGUE.<p>As for u making us money i don't think so, 1/3 of the gate receipts from minute crowd that will be there would probably pay Gabbiadini's wage for 1 day.

Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey! Go Canvey!<p>Even if you were non-league no-hopers, I'd rate your chances against NTFC.

A little nervous I sense rightly so in your league position.

Still boys we look forward to you visiting Englands answer to Mauritus.

Join the locals for a beer and enjoy your day.<p>The League clubs really feel superior to us non league clubs but I promise you that gap is not to wide.

Please bear in mind a lot of non league players have a full time job and can earn 200-300 a week playing football outside the nationwide league so when the likes of yourselves come in and want to buy them wages wise its not financialy viable.<p>Canvey 2-1 Northampton

We will enjoy our day and i hope that you enjoy yours and i hope that we can all mix together before and after the game and enjoy a few beers no matter what happens.<p>I have to diagree though about the gap between league and non league especially div 2.There may not be much difference on the day but over 46 league games there is a significant difference.<p>see ya soon

Walk over it won't be, no illusions there! just the excitement of playing a league club and in with a chance, (a realistic chance of winning).

Judging by the NTFC league position you haven't played too many teams off the old pitch so far this season. Just be glad you Cobblers will make a few quid because you are playing us and then concentrate on not dropping down to the 3rd Division.

Enjoy your TV coverage while it lasts - its not so much a novelty for us anymore.

I'm not being bias or whatever you old people call it tongue.gif" border="0 But I think we're looking at a 3-1 win for the Gulls. You are bottom of you're table and getting worse by the day ( and still trying to say you'll beat us) We have just beaten Wigan, who currently stand at 18th place in the league, that's 6 places above you ( If my maths is right tongue.gif" border="0 ) And Port Vale are in the place above, i'm sure if we can beat these teams i'm sure we'll beat you. If we lose fair enough, but don't say you'll beat us with your current league position. Hope to talk to some of the fans. Anyone wanna buy me a pint or forge me a passport or something? tongue.gif" border="0 ...... Didn't think so.. Look's like i'll have to stick with the coke frown.gif" border="0 . I notice that Brighton are top of division 2! <img src="graemlins/icon25.gif" border="0" alt="[icon25]" />

The cream of non league! you're having a laugh I class you lot as one hit wonders. You should shut up and hope that you get into the Conference. As for the TV will the neutrals watch when your 0-3 down?

Gaunch

You say we would not survive in div 2 and i make you one hundred percent right. But at the moment you are struggling to survive and from what we hear your club is not a happy place to be at the moment.

We over the last few years have come from nowhere and made great strides through the football pyramid.

I feel we will go up this year to the conference and after that its just a lottery.<p>Don't think I'm being disrespectful just friendly banter as I admire fans like you who pay good money to watch basement league football.<p>Enjoy your day out and i look forward to sharing a pint with you boys.

Lots of good banter - lets hope the match is as enjoyable.

Gonch reckons they are above us in class and about 50 places better. Does anyone know how many places Brighton were above us when taking us for granted lost Liam Brady his job?

One for Merv the statistician!

Brighton were 2nd to bottom of Division Two, when Canvey played them at Park Lane.<p>Canvey were in the 2nd Division of the Isthmian League.<p>That makes at least 92 places difference assuming that Canvey were top of that division.<p>I do not have a record as to where in the division we were, but Canvey won the 2nd division that season.
